Murano Glass blowing class

About the experience

Guided by a real Master Glassblower, you’ll explore a working furnace, learn the secrets of ancient Venetian techniques, and get hands-on with hot glass to create your very own Murano artwork.

No experience needed—just curiosity and the desire to create something truly unique. From the first spark of the furnace to the final shape of your handmade piece, this is more than a class: it’s a journey into fire, art, and centuries of craftsmanship.

What you’ll actually do — Step by Step

Live Demonstration
Before you begin, you’ll watch a live glassblowing demo by one of our masters. They’ll show you how molten glass is shaped, step by step — an inspiring introduction to the process and techniques.
Step inside the furnace

After a warm welcome, you’ll enter the working area of the furnace and get familiar with the tools, materials, and workspace. The team will explain safety basics and show you how to handle the blowpipe and hot glass with confidence.
No experience necessary — we guide you throughout.

Blow your first shape
With the support of a master glassblower, you’ll gather molten glass on the pipe and learn how to blow air into it. You’ll explore how heat, breath, and movement affect the shape — always under close guidance.
Shape, refine, and finish
Once your piece begins to take form, you’ll use simple tools to shape it: you can pinch, stretch, flatten, or smooth it while it stays warm. At this stage, you’ll be creating your own glass flower, tumbler/vase, or plate.
Cooling & collection
Your finished object will be placed in a special oven to cool down gradually and safely. You’ll receive your handmade creation after the session (or we can arrange shipping), complete with a certificate of authenticity.
